Hardwood Floor Inspections in Maryland by Atlas Floors
For many homeowners, their homes represent their single largest investment they will make.
In 2005, 1.1 billion square feet of hardwood flooring was sold in the United States alone. Add this to all the existing wood floors already installed decades or even hundreds of years ago and this represents a real demand for wood flooring inspectors.
In 2004 the National Flooring Association Certified Professionals, Inc. was formed as a stand-alone corporation, dedicated to advancing and promoting certified status within the wood flooring industry. Look for the Floor Inspector Badge for a certified professional inspector.
In 2007, Tom Skowron went through the certification process and passed all examines on the first try. He achieved the status as one of 2 Certified Wood Flooring Inspectors in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The NWFA’s Certification Program was developed to recognize and promote competence of wood flooring professionals throughout the industry.
NWFACP Certified Inspector status must be maintained annually.
